Over this time they created a Mandala Sand Painting, the most unique and exquisite of artistic traditions of Tantric Buddhism. Millions of grains of sand are painstakingly laid into place on a platform over a period of days or weeks to form the image of a mandala. National Public Radio (NPR) recently showcased the remarkable design of Rocio Romero. NPR writer Matt Sepic wrote, “It’s not often that the terms “prefabricated home” and “modern architecture” are heard together. But a young architect in Missouri has spent a decade figuring out how to bring low prices to the realm of high design.”
He goes on to mention that even in the middle of the dismal housing market, her houses have continued to sell. After all, they are pretty affordable starting at just $36,870.

The ‘champagne of beers’ is pulling a fresh stunt at this year’s Super Bowl. Air time for a 30-second ad during the game on February 1st is selling at $3 million, but Miller High Life plans to premiere the first ever 1 second ad that day. The thrifty marketing ploy is already raising quite a stir…just as it was intended to.

So, “Here’s to you Mr. Miller High Life guy…” oh wait, those real men of genius are from a different beer commercial.
Read more about it here.

Just for kicks.

Day we took a huge step forward as one nation where all men are created equal.
